Dear Friends and Supporters:
I have chosen to run for re-election to the St. Paul City Council because of the passion and commitment I feel for the East Side and the city of St. Paul. We live in a great city and I am proud of the work we have done together. I want to continue to serve you and our community over the next four years.
There have been a lot of changes in the city since I was first elected as your St. Paul city council member in 1998. Budget constraints and on-going financial pressure from the State of Minnesota have put stress on the city and have forced us to look at how we do business in new and creative ways. The experience I bring to this job will be critical in the next four years as we try to change the way we operate without destroying the hard work that has made our city a great place to live and work.
I have always worked hard for Ward 7 and I am committed to continuing that history of service. I ask for your support and your vote on November 8, 2011.
